First In – SUPPORT: A Utility Glove for the Job
The SUPPORT glove was designed to be a workhorse glove that bridges the gap between the station and interior attack. The glove you pull on to get through 95% of the calls.
The Build:
-
Full Goat Leather: We used two layers of premium goat leather across the entire palm, index finger, and thumb. Goat leathers high-tensile strength stays supple even after getting soaked, providing a solid grip on tools, ropes, and ladders.
-
Carabiner Anchor Point: The wrist section features a dual-stitch reinforced carabiner anchor point. Hang your SUPPORT gloves from your turnout coat or belt – ready to deploy whenever you are.
-
Dexterity: Between the roll-over finger design and the nylon knuckle flex zones, you aren't sacrificing dexterity for durability. Selecting radio channels, tying knots, or handling power tools can be done without stripping your gloves off.
-
Touch Screen Ready: Need to use the MDT, your phone, or a tablet? SUPPORT glove thumbs are touch-screen compatible. No reason to take your gloves off.
Where it belongs:
Hang them from your turnouts or throw the SUPPORT gloves in your gear bag for rolling hose, throwing ladders, pump operations, forced entry, or checking the rig. They aren't meant for the interior of a structure fire, but for the other 95% of the job, the SUPPORT gloves are ready to go to work.

The SUPPORT™ glove is built for precision. Follow these rules to get it dialed in:
- Use our SIZING CHART: The SUPPORT™️ gloves fit true to professional sizing. Use our sizing chart in the section above to find your ideal size.
- Keep it snug: You want a tight fit across the palm. If the material is bunching up, you lose grip and dexterity. It's completely normal for the gloves to feel tight for a day or two of use.
- Give them a shift to break in: Like any high-performance gear, these might feel stiff at first. Give them a shift of work and they’ll mold to your hands.

⚠️warning
The "SUPPORT" glove is designed strictly for general work and utility tasks and is NOT a personal protective equipment (PPE) item for firefighting. This product is not NFPA certified and provides no protection against flame, fire, thermal exposure, or structural hazards. Synthetic components, including the TPR (thermo-plastic rubber) and Nylon, will melt if exposed to heat or sparks; DO NOT use for structural, wildland, or proximity firefighting.
SUPPORT gloves are not rated for cut or puncture resistance; always refer to the stitched inner label for material warnings and material composition. To maintain the integrity of the goat leather and technical bonds, DO NOT wash these gloves in an extractor. It is the sole responsibility of the user to determine the suitability of this product for any specific task. Misuse of this product may lead to severe injury or death. Always inspect gloves before use and discard immediately if the leather or stitching shows signs of compromise.
Every pair of SUPPORT™️ gloves comes with a one year limited manufacturers warranty. If there's anything wrong with your gloves construction, no sweat, send them back for a fresh pair. Click to see the complete terms of our WARRANTY POLICY agreement.
DO NOT use extraction washers, commercial dryers, or high-heat methods.
The First In – SUPPORT glove should be cleaned using a gentle hand-washing method. Improper cleaning will cause the goat leather to dry out, shrink, and become stiff, destroying the dexterity you purchased the glove for.
The Recommended Cleaning Method
- Preparation: Put the gloves on your hands.
- Wash: Use cold or lukewarm tap water and a small amount of mild liquid detergent (like a gentle laundry soap or dish soap).
- Scrub: While wearing the gloves, gently rub the soiled areas together, paying close attention to the palms and fingertips. Do not scrub harshly, as this can wear down the leather.
- Rinse: Rinse the gloves thoroughly with cold, clean water until all soap residue is removed.
- Remove Excess Water: Do not wring the gloves. Gently squeeze the water out, starting from the fingers and moving toward the cuff.
The Critical Drying Method
- Air Dry ONLY: Hang the gloves to air dry, ideally in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight or any heat source.
- NEVER Use Heat: Do not place the gloves near heaters, engine manifolds, forced air dryers, or commercial dryers. The high heat will irreversibly damage the leather, cause shrinkage, and melt the nylon and TPR components.
- Re-shaping: As the gloves begin to dry (when they are still slightly damp), put them on and make a fist several times to help reshape the leather and restore flexibility. This prevents stiffness.
MAX DEXTERITY
The SUPPORT™️ outer shell is crafted almost entirely from top-grain goat leather chosen for its strength, flexibility, and exceptional grip. Designed for a snug fit, the gloves naturally mold to the shape of your hands with wear and use.
Double it up
Two layers of goat leather on the finger pads, across the palm, and thumb crotch to reinforce the SUPPORT gloves where they're used most.
FLEXIBLE KNUCKLES AND FINGERS
The fingers are contoured to match the natural anatomy of the hand, wider at the base, tapering toward the tips, and gently curving inward. The knuckles sections are constructed of hi-strength nylon that enhances comfort and flexibility. This ergonomic design allows the hands to rest naturally within the glove, reducing hand fatigue and enhancing overall comfort and dexterity.
CARABINER READY
Located on the wrist is the carabiner attachment point. The double stitched reinforced design also enables you to pull on your gloves with ease. Hang your gloves from your turnout gear, locker hook, or anywhere you need quick access.
Touch screen compatible
Touch screen compatible thumbs enable you to do more on the go. Use the rigs onboard monitors, or pull out your personal mobile device without having to remove your gloves.
